What does this plug connect too?

I was Looking around in my engine bay and I notice a plug that was unplugged, it looks like it is part of the headlight harness. But my adaptive headlights are working. I think they did a terrible job installing me ppk2 loose wires everywhere and I don't know where they should go. Also I bought this car used is this maybe evidence of a jb4.

My fan is working as far as I know. Well my oil temps haven't gone above 240. That being said the warmest weather she has been in under my ownership is 70f

The plugs are for the original fan and sensors. When the ppk was installed they used a new harness and left the old plugs in place ( the ones you have hanging free) I have the same think in my 335i with ppk. Don't worry about them, BMW doesn't.

This is definitely correct. My only recommendation is that you double check to make sure they pulled the original fan fuse from the fuse box (the PPK2 has an inline fuse, and you don't want the original fan plug to be energized). Find the fuse box behind the glove box. The glove box door drops down and the fuse box is tucked behind the glove box. Locate the cluster of six horizontal fuse positions on the lower right hand side of the fuse box. The cluster contains 6 large fuse positions that are 2 fuses wide x 3 fuses down. In this cluster, the original radiator fan fuse is/was located in the top right fuse location. This location should be empty now.

Thanks everyone, I learn so much on this forum everyday it's unreal how much better owning a car with active forum base is compared to owning my Audi TT.
