Under dash storage bin?

I don't know if I'm seeing this wrong or not,

Is that a storage bin to the right of the steering wheel?

Is there something similar for the LHD folks?
Or can the one from a 5 series be adapted? (LHD PN 51452556384)

Just checking RealOem, on a 125i that panel is called "Oddments tray, instr.panel driver's side" P/N 51456982670 (in this case black for LHD), $167.44 from Schmiedmann's. For the same year 128i it's a "Trim instr. panel driver's side below" P/N 51459114417 (black, again).

If i remember correctly only Euro cars got these extra storage compartment including the 1M. Never occurred to me that you could order form Schmiedmann to do a retrofit. Might be my next thing to do to the car!

I wonder if they'd let us do a group buy at a discount?

Did this ever get resolved? It sorta went off track a bit. Is there a mod for the panel below A/C controls?

There's equipment behind that panel under the A/C controls, not much room to do anything there.
