120d coupé edition sport matte blue
Hi everyone!
I'm new to this forum and want to introduce myself. My name is David, I am 32 years old and from Germany. I have my coupé for two month now and made the first changes. More to come. Hope you like it. Thats how I bought it. 120d carbon black (Edition Sport) BMW 313 m-wheels and fully wrapped now Pictures on a really sunny day. Normally the blue is much darker. Sometimes the color seems to become a little bit lighter and more "blue?" Plans for the future: More carbon, more power (BMW performance power kit) Aaaaaand catback fore sure! That ugly oval pipe has to be removed as soon as possible!!!! Last edited by performance-one; 04-16-2015 at 03:28 PM.. |

Schone einser! Are you sure that the BMW power kit will get the most out of that engine? I'm sure you could find a good tuner that brings it up to 200HP+?
I like the wrap!

Different. I think I like it.
May I make a suggestion? Paint the diffuser black to match the shadowline trim and your kidney grilles!

Nice car! I see you live in the Wiesbaden area. Mr Kleen has his 135i also wrapped at this same shop. They do good work.

No, definitely not. But my guarantee is till end of 2016, so I will not risk that for a more horsepower chip. Thanx. But I have to make some better pictures. Summer is coming ^^ Quote:
I'm looking forward to an carbon rear spoiler and carbon rear diffuser to match the shadow lines and the blacked out crest. Thanx man. Some people like the color and some don't. By the way, the color is "dark navy" by 3m Quote:
Yeah, I think the wrap shop did a good work. And this guy has good prices. You were in WI? What color did your friend wrap his 135i? The only wrapped 1 series coupe (US spec) I saw here was an matte army green. I also had that color in my mind, but two army green 1 series coupes in WI would be one to much Last edited by performance-one; 05-01-2015 at 07:35 PM.. |

I don't get the whole wrapping thing at all... You find a car in the color you want, then cover it up with vinyl... Matte vinyl, to boot.
To each their own.

But a matte finish?
Makes the car look like a beater.

I loved my matte green 135i. That's why I spent the money and the effort to get it done. "To each their own" indeed.
Wrapping the car gave me a color that I wanted but wasn't available from BMW. The wrap protected the paint (rock chips at autobahn speeds are horrible) and made it possible to put the car through any old car wash without worrying (it's borderline illegal to wash your car at home in Germany).

Not exactly what I would say, but I kinda like that "primer" look.

My car has a nice color from BMW. But not what I want. Who really finds the color he/she wants directly from the manufacturer? I saw your car only ones on the B455 and it is still in my mind! So well spent money for the wrap! Last edited by performance-one; 05-03-2015 at 10:10 AM.. |

Some more pix from my old car.
(had a look to my backup stuff) Sorry that I don't have many pics with the original color. The car was wrapped pretty fast. Edit... Fuck it...That was the wrong thread... |
