Excited to finally share my own set of Performance seats in my 1M! I believe this pair originally belonged to Powerbeast where they were in his yellow M3 before moving on to MilehighM3 (which is who I got them from). I was able to dye the yellow thread to match the interior by using a pink fabric marker on top of the yellow. It actually matches pretty damn well.

I think it is cool to find the history of older parts like this on the forums. For instance, I know that each owner has done some form of customization (re-stitching, painting, etc.) to make these seats their own, and they these have been installed in an M3, M2, and now a 1M.

As I recall the backs of his seats were repainted gloss black with yellow paint flakes/sparkle in it.

Yup, but luckily for me the next owner had the backs repainted in a much more subtle satin black. All I had to do was deal with the yellow stitching.
