DPFIX Install w/ JB4
Hey All,
I'm installing my Wedge performance dpfix into my JB4 and after reviewing the instructions several times I'm a bit confused. On page 6 of the instructions (Bottom Picture) https://www.scribd.com/document/282438153/X-Kitty-pdf Their manual shows the small black sub connector which looks different than my JB4. Their picture shows both sides female (bottom picture) My JB4 (Top picture) small black sub connector is female and male and the pins are reversed compared to their picture. Am I looking at the right sub connector? Has the JB4 connector changed? Thanks in Advance! |

I don't have a JB4, but after reading the installation instructions, it does in fact say that the opposite end is male. I'd re-read pages 6-7 and see if you can understand it based on their verbage vice the photos. Regardless, the harness is pictured opposite of yours, meaning the male end is at the top. Compare the background color to the pins and I think it's plausible that they're simply not visible but do exist.

You might be right about them just not being visible. Got it hooked up yesterday and it started and is driving well so far. Here is a closeup for anybody else in the future.
