Best Headlight Bulbs??
I have a 2008 BMW 135i coupe. I bought the car used about two years ago and finally got a ?Right Low Beam Malfunction? yesterday. I have now been shopping for bulbs to replace my right low beam. Unfortunately in my opinion the headlights were not bright and could barely light the rode up at night. I checked out which bulbs I have and it says ?Lux 8 160?. Can someone help me with what is the right bulb to buy or possibly a better brighter one? Thanks so much.

On my E90, had a bulb burn out, so installed a couple new OE bulbs from our body shop. Was a slight improvement. Then I installed Philips X-Treme Vision. Very noticeable improvement over new OE bulbs.
Now they have Gen2 which are even better. Plan on installing the Gen2 on my 1er at some point. https://www.powerbulbs.com/us/produc...en2-d1s-single If you look at the top of the page, they always have some kind of 20% off code. Often further discounts if you order 2. |

A little more background for anyone helping: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1430290
That Lux #, 8-160, isn't H8 and for the angel eyes and not the headlights? It might be the headlights, just want to be sure. Frustrating thing is there are several versions of headlights. Do you have Xenon? Adaptive? That might end up affecting the solution, don't want to get the wrong thing. |
