Can somebody chime in on these 2 logs and maybe lend some insight into what's going on? Is my HPFP going to shit? (no codes)

https://datazap.me/u/xer0-449/e30-v3...og=0&data=3-15
I can't seem to get into full boost on E30 without rail pressure taking a nose dive.

Since the F series are now Fully OBD flashable, there's a good chance we can port that hack to late E. We'll see in the upcoming weeks.

That's simply too much boost (even with this relatively high AFR) for your pump with the PS2 trubo. The only thing you can do is install an upgraded lpfp if you haven't yet.

Thats way to much boost for a PS2 on the late E-series using and Ethanol mix. An upgraded LPFP would probably not change anything. You're simply outflowing your HPFP. AFR is dipping into the 13s as well. Talk to whoever is tuning the car. Your HPFP isn't dying. its simply cant keep up.

Thanks Justin & Martial,

To follow up: Arenít there more than a few PS2 N55 1ers running E30 on my setup running similar amounts of boost? Iíve tested the fuel to be sure and taken the usual precautions. The fuel is E85 (exactly) and even with just under 3gal into a full tank of 91 it canít keep up.

My mods below:

Pure Stage 2 turbo + GFB DV + Pure Inlet
BMS catch can
BMS intake
VRSF chargepipe
VRSF catless downpipe
N20 3.5bar TMAP
Stage2 Bucketless LPFP

Best bet is too send the logs back to your tuner and see how the adjustments take affect and what feedback he gives on your logs...
If that fails give twisted a go!! Justin is great with me although I think my wastegate has an issue and Justin's patience is paramount

As stated before. You're car is a late e-series. So your HPFP does not flow as much as earlier models. Running blends you need to be wary of how much ethanol you run and boost pressure. Especially on upgraded turbos.

You should really be talking to your tuner.

Getting my dme unlocked on Friday. Then during the holiday time off I'm going to change plugs and coils, remove the jb4 and install the mhd e85 map
Totally excited.
Quick question...will the mhd tune retain the loud pops between dct shifts I currently have with the jb4 fbo

See below of my post in another thread regarding the Late E-series direct OBD Unlock....

At least after digging its not there. Such is life in the game of hacking, sometimes things exist sometimes not.

So, with that the Late E-series owners still will need the one time bench flash to patch and unlock the DME for Full OBD2 functionality.

So for those wanting to start tuning their car, the process is simple. Send your DME in to me and i unlock it. I do next day turn arounds on DMEs. so the wait is not long. I do understand that some people don't want to remove their DME for whatever reason, but it really is easy.

had my 2013 dme unlocked, took it home, changed the plugs and coils, removed the jb4, cleaned the BMS intake air filter, connected the battery tender, and then flashed the mhd. The only real hard part I enountered was getting google play to work to accept my damn payment for the tune. Many calls resulted in nothing. I eventually had to buy google play gift cards in order to avoid the trouble charging my card.

I must say that the car is totally transformed. Stage 2+ is faster than the jb4 with e30! I want to express my thank you to the team that put this together.

Google Play has literally been a nightmare of late. I don't know what the issue is, but i even ran into some issues with google play for one of my customers when trying to get them set up.

I'm happy you like the Maps. They will continue to get better as well with updates. So stay tuned, and we appreciate your support.

Are there updates for OTS maps in the pipeline for early E-series cars? Curious when we might see the next round.

yes, actually i was going to push them out about 2 weeks ago, but i brought a DCT N55. so wanted to pass them all through the car one more time before i send to Martial for integration to the app. So yes, they are right around the corner. just waiting for the title delivery. so i can "legally' run it on the road, lol

Can anyone help me review these? I am still new to datalogging.. but was there more timing corrections after the new spark plugs and coil packs?

Recently installed Bosch plugs and Delphi coils (12/29/17)

@MHD Tuning I noticed in the FSeries forum you mentioned that you may have two vendors working on an upgraded HPFP... would this also relate to the Late ESeries HPFP as it shares that fuel Pump??

Alright got it, I haven't driven the car in a few days but will this week.
I did not get to check the actual gap on the new plugs but they were supposed to be OEM spec Bosch spark plugs. I could pull them this week and double check if needed though.

You should gap down to .022", which is a bit tighter than the OEM spec gap

With the cold start noise reduction, is it not for use in super cold weather? When I put on the tune a week and a half ago, it seemed to be working ok. However, now with this cold snap (30 degrees and down), when I start the car it seems the rpms want to settle down for the noise reduction but then the car drops rpms, shakes and revs back up. Does that a few times before I finally decide to throw it in drive or reverse at which points it's fine. Once or twice, then engine quit after the rpm fluctuations. Starting it back up was just fine though. Any suggestions? Should I remove the cold start noise reduction when too cold?
