Recommend a SF/Bay area mechanic for Valvetronic/Eccentric shaft replacement
I've a 2011 BMW 135i with N55 engine.
My car has rough idle surges of ~100 rpm and long cold starts (~2.5 seconds). Car shows P10E2 (2DD6). As per N55 codes, here is the description: Quote:

How soon do you need it fixed? VT motorworks in pleasanton is opening soon. The two owners are the bmw trained master technicians who built my v8 1m clone.
If your in Santa Clara and need it fixed sooner, Carbahn, Steve Dinan's shop, and Edge MV are good options as well. |

Any of the shops I recommended should be able to fix no problem. They do good work and are honest. VT is good because they are factory trained. So where many shops do different things, from bolts ons, to track cars and builds, it is nice to go to a shop who also can do maintenance by bmw trained techs.
