I may copy you on this. Same exact problem. Hydro flask is fine, anything else, rattles so much that I opt to hold it with my crotch

I figured it out one day when I folded a receipt and put it under the cup and it stopped the rattle so I figure this will be better, look better and absorb any moisture or spill.

Man is front grip FUN.
What size rsrr's are you running? I hear they run significantly wider than other tires. These will be my replacement tires once the rft go.

Installed a wireless phone charger that fits nicely in the cubby near the shifter. Wired directly to a switched power source from the fuse box, with wires and necessary converters behind console/dash/glove box. Now when I throw my phone in the cubby like usual it will be charging too.

Nice. I use the same one, although I just ran the usb inside the center console.

I finally got around to installing my VRSF charge pipe and new middle brake light.

I like my performance-style spoiler, because it's gloss black, but I don't love the size of it, since I normally prefer no spoiler at all. Well, after reading something about the M5 Competition today, I realized that it has a small, gloss black spoiler, not unlike the 135i's original spoiler. So, I yanked my performance-style spoiler, reattached my original spoiler, and tried my hand at wrapping for the first time with gloss black 3M. I'd give my job about a B grade, so I'll probably redo it at some point, although I may just get it painted, if I decide to stick with it.

My brake light was cracked all across the top, so I'm glad to finally get that done!

Next up, I'm finally gonna get to my performance side skirts, which have been in the garage since last year, and then I should be done with cosmetics.

Over the course of the last I gave the little 1er that could sort of a reboot.
She got new spark plugs, boost solenoid, xdi hpfp, vcg, and quaife lsd. Feels like a completely different car. It's amazing runs smoother, shifts smoother boost builds smoother; it's been raining the last couple of days so I haven't been able to get on it but the lsd has brought the biggest smile to my face to date.
Amazing bmw decided against a mechanical diff

You did it! Now we need to get Matticus91 to do an LSD...

This weekend I bled my clutch, replaced my tie rods (inner and outer), and got my Öhlins rear adjusters squared-away. Steering is a little snappier, and my clutch feels much more consistent.

How much easier is it to delete rubber from tires now? That's all I care about

Hey, thanks. It’s Cashmere Silver Metallic, which is a bit of a chameleon.. It looks anywhere from grey-titanium to sand to nearly gold, depending on the light.

Replaced the ballast for my driver's side headlight. Instead of taking the bumper off for access, I went in through the wheel well and it was much easier! Remove a handful of 8mm screws, bend back the front section of the liner and you're in!

Thank you, sir. I normally stay pretty stock with cars, especially on the exterior, but this particular color leaned a bit too "grandma-ish" to me with the chrome, so I've been trying to be subtle with the black accents. The performance side skirts won't be super subtle, and I don't normally go for non-stock side skirts, but I like these for some reason. We'll see how that goes.

Now, if I had a naturally beautiful color like yours, I'd not have to do too much. That blue is perfect.

While I was pumping gas a teen commented on my 128i. He showed pics of his le mans 128i. Unfortunately a driver ran a red and t-boned him last week on his prom night and totaled it. Both him and the girl are fine with a couple scratches. He is searching for another 1er now!

Overall a pleasant conversation and happy to see the young kids chasing after 1ers still!

That's great! I mean, not the accident. Glad he's ok. I mean it's great he is into 1ers.

My best friend's 19 year old cousin came into town last year and was so excited to check out my 135i. I told him he could give it a drive...but it turns out he didn't drive stick, and I didn't have time to find a place to teach him, so my friend took him for a spin, instead. Even from the passenger seat, he came back all smiles.

It was awesome. I felt the event was unorganized but the car felt great. Lately ive been struggling a bit with motion sickness so that was getting the better of me but i had a blast. Theres no elevation changes unfortunately but its a very technical track (for a beginner). The dinan camber plates and the alignment i did felt very planted. I was honestly surprised i wasn't spinning out but it was gripping and going. On the straights the fastest i got up too (not going full send more focused on learning a good line, was like 160-170km/h)

Also the other cars there were pretty hard to compare too (Porsche 911 Turbo S, Viper ACR, M2's, M5's, and full blown race cars)

Reference photo of track
