MHD N55 DME unlock

Hi

So I have recently had my late model 135i bench flashed. When I connect via OBD I am getting the following message in the MHD app.

I just want to confirm whether this is a generic message as it has recognised my VIN and that I will still be able to go ahead and buy the licences...or has the DME bench flash not been performed properly?

I doubt what ever shop he used is going to benefit you being he's in Australia.

I got it done at a shop in Brisbane.

ahh didn't notice.. I know theres a guy on here that u cant send to cali and hell do it.. was wondering if theyr were other options

I haven't seen any. It's unfortunate all the tuner shops seem to be concentrated in Cali. The east coast peeps seem to get the shaft in that regard.

I also looked into what it takes to pull the DME out. It's more work than I want to do especially since doing the PPK or Dinan does not require a bench flash/unlock. I know there's debate on the performance/cost/value of the aforementioned compared to going MHD. I'm at the age now that I don't want to keep messing with my car as a science project and just want a decent bump in power without the headaches. I've gone through that with past project cars and don't want to re-experience it again.

you know.. I have a room full of parts I started buying for my previous e88.,,
and now with my IS.. I feel the same way.. sometimes I feel like posting all the bnib pieces on here.. and sometimes I want to install..
but I think science project is the proper term... u supe these cars up and then shit doesn't align or it breaks cuz oem parts wernt made for the extra stress..
it hurts to chop up such a beautiful car
