I just bought this track beast from a forum member. You guys must have seen this car developing on this forum.
I've a Z4M coupe which I mildly tracked for 2 years and then realized that I need to modify it for the track. I'm in no mood to destroy the Z, so I was looking for a track car for a while. I Tried 4 different e36 M3's...I couldn't fall in love with them. I knew 128i drives good even in the Stock form. Then I got this track ready 128i 6MT from a great forum member here. Completely modified suspension. Worked out a deal, flew from Philly to Iowa and drove her back 1200miles. I did need to buy Gel cushion at Truck Stop So far I only did one track day at Shenandoah West Virginia. What a beast this car is. Even with stock 128i it was way more fun and fast. Here are some pics, the Z and the 128. |

It's very raw. Hydraulic steering for great feedback. I just love driving this car every day.
Seats are low so you basically sit in the car. Even with lowering springs the car is very comfortable on long road trips. Seating position makes it perfect. Lots of leg room. Its 200lbs lighter than e46 M3. On highways it gives 21mpg plus, of course always pushing it hard. And it attracts attention..lol |

Sweet cars! Will you be doing any events at NJMP soon?
I have a stock 128i which is a great daily, not so great track car. With the mods you have on yours, I'm sure it feels much better. I use my E36 for track stuff. |

I work in Pennsauken, so I'm starting to do the TNiA since NJMP is only 1hr from work. I live in Delaware, so NJMP is also 1hr away and I have no excuse to do the weekend events too!

I haven't had them work on my car yet, but I want them to weld in my subframe reinforcements on the E36. I'm just gambling since the subframe still hasn't cracked yet. |
