Thanks! And I agree, it was either these or a set of E9X-specific Style 216. Figured I'd play it safe with these instead of dealing with potential rubbing issues with the 216.

Yeah, 3-series wheels barely work on these cars with our stupid fenders and rear hubs

This is what I did for my car today. $6 and $8 shipping. A plastic little screw had my car down for 3 days. The bleeder screw for my coolant rez somehow cracked and I wasn't able to tighten it down, blowing loads of coolant all over the place. Just glad it wasn't more serious

Went to my parent's to pick up some food and found my dad fixing the rear window that was starting to come off on the ragtop.

Damn eBay seller had opened the SMC module and taken out the board. Swapped over the board from my old headlight and all is well!

It looks so damn good! Totally changes the appearance of the car at night. However, now the "new" headlight is fogging up a lot :/

No idea. The previous owner changed out the angel eye bulbs to LEDs with drivers. It is the only modification he made lol.

I'd strongly recommend LUX angel eyes. I've had a set in several previous cars. The usual eBay/Amazon cheap stuff never lasts.

Might have been worth it to just replace the entire tank. I did mine recently. It came with the bleeder screw already installed along with a new coolant level sensor.

My BMW tech friend said as time goes on to expect the plastic parts such as the expansion tank to start failing which mine did.

Just added the Stainless steel pedals, per the DIY instructions. The throttle was easy, as described. When I got to the brake, I started off using the alcohol method and wasn't getting anywhere but frustrated. Then I took a step back, got the dish soap and it just popped on. Happy now!

Cool! Quick question. I though the 135is was supposed to come with those pedals standard. Am I wrong about that?

I pulled my pedal covers off and run skateboard grip tape. Clean, slap on, run metal tool around edge, tear away extra.

Simple, functional.

Yeah, the 135i M-Sport has that, too. I just found out that the 135is manual comes with the steel pedals, but the DCT comes with rubber, so it's all good.

Yes now that I had a problem with that screw, I looked over the whole coolant setup(that I can see anyway) and I'm on the search for some upgraded hoses and might just re-do everything.
But for now I took advantage of the flash sale at xph this past weekend and grabbed these. So this is my next job

Installed new OEM side markers. Didn’t realize just how gross they had gotten.

Super easy install, took no more than 10-15 minutes.

Also got word that my Performance Intake and Performance brake kit shipped today. Looking forward to getting those installed in the next few weeks.

Dropping it off for the Blower Motor recall, oil change (got a $50 gift card from BMW in the mail), and just last week my headlight washer blew a leak so that too.

Route 66 should cover the fluid reservoir. Free coffee & snacks is a nice touch also.

Installed AKG Motorsport delrin shift carrier bushings, was much more of a PITA than I anticipated but it made a nice difference in tightening things up. I still need to get a new lever and DSSR but this was a first step to check out what else is needed down there (shift selector seal too...)
