Choetech quick-charge wireless charger
Hi. While I know that Inbay makes that pretty slick looking wireless charging insert for our center consoles, the speed/tech is already outdated, it’s $120, and my iPhone XS is slightly larger than the recommended dimensions, so I went looking for something else.
This $20 Choetech fits the bill. I thought I’d have to secure it to the console, but its rubber back seems to keep it in place so far. Plus, it’s quick-charging and has three coils, so the phone can slide back and forth a bit and still find the charge. If I keep it long term, I may make a hole to run the cable. Also, you need a QuickCharge 3.0 USB adapter for the cigarette lighter. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D2CWBS1/ref=emc_b_5_mob_t Last edited by duder13; 02-13-2019 at 09:21 AM.. |

Yeah, I’m actually going to drill out the little hole a bit that’s already under the rubber mat and run the wire. Yesterday I went on a spirited, windy road drive and the charger/phone didn’t budge.

I lifted the rubber pad in the bottom of the tray, routed out the hole on the left a bit to allow a USB through, ran the wire, and replaced the rubber pad. I may cut a notch in the pad.
