Apex Arc-8, RE-71R, TC-Kline Fitment

Quick PSA, 255/35/18 Bridgestone RE-71R on Apex Arc-8 standard staggered front wheel fitment for 1 series, with TC Kline coilovers, rub a tiny bit as seen on the following pictures. Also included is a picture of the car showing ride height. Other front suspension mods include M control Arms and Hotchkiss front sway bar. About 2.3* camber.

BTW, 2x 255/35/18 Bridgestone RE-71R tires for sale, used for only 300 street miles.

Good info. Are you able to add a 3mm spacer without kissing the fender?

Maybe, it was already pretty tight, but 3mm isn't too much. Unfortunately I don't have any spacers that size. I think 3mm spacer, with a little bit of a fender pull might be fine.

I think my fenders have a mild pull to them, and they've been brought out the max space from the engine bay out that those bolt holes up top will allow.

I didn't try any spacers on the front. But do note that the darker (cleaner) area on the fender liner is also some rubbing. Rears are actually some old 265(I think)/35/18 Hankook RS3s. I'm going to swap them all out for a set of PS4S (might try rears 275/35 which is 0.2" wider than the 265 Hankook) and I'll try some spacers then. I also need to get my front wheels checked for bends. Hard sidewalls and big potholes don't feel too good.

You'll like the ps4s. Not as good as the 71r in the dry. But an excellent all around tire. Leagues better than the PSS.

That's correct. To be fair, according to Apex's website the recommended tire is 235/40/18

So close! We generally recommend a 5mm spacer for 255/35 tires on this setup, but as others have said you might be able to get away with a 3mm judging from these photos.

The wheels look great though!
