N52 Euro air filter box
I'm thinking this box really only has 2 advantages over North American box; much easier to change filter and perhaps gives more "sound" on hard acceleration. Likely no noticeable increase in horsepower. A disadvantage might be getting the Euro air filters. Comments?

I got the Euro airbox Mahle LX 1035 filter from Amazon a few months ago, it was $25 at the time. If you keep an eye on European/UK ebay you can get the euro airbox for less than $100 shipped.

I got one used on here. I forgot the name of the seller but he always has them listed. I paid more than $100, but it came with a pretty clean filter and it was convenient for me to collect from the seller, so I bit. It was very easy to install and when you do it in conjunction with the smoother silicone intake hose, it gives a little noticable butt dyno shake. And it sounds nice.
It probably did nothing for performance. That's okay. edit: seller was zajac1 |

I already have the airbox I'm searching for the euro Performance Intake that fits it, the US market one will not. I think they've stopped making it and have been unable to find one anywhere

Well I don't know about Euro performance intake [filter?] but the standard filter should be 13 71 7 536 006 and has been used on E8x and E9x from 2004 to 2013 so a huge number of cars. Any BMW dealer should be able to order it.

Or the pipe that goes from the box to the IM? I got my euro air box to fit with the stock snorkel and line to IM. |
