M lower rear arms symmetry
So I'm on a quest to put lower arms and better adjustable shocks on the back of my 128i on the cheep.
I got a used left rear arm for $80 and am now looking for a right. Or am I?..... Measuring they look symmetrical? I am running a coil over on the shock body so all I am measuring is the two faces, and shock mount. They all are on the same center line. Any confirmation on this? Alex.

Well I found a right coming for my left. I really don't think there is anything different.
Part number only get you so far. I'll carful measure and then fit backwards to double check. The reason I am asking for this rally car I want to have spares and would only need one. It's always good to know what's possible when in need of a quick service.

I don't remember a difference when I installed mine. The only difference is literally the weight and damper lower mount position.
If you have AHL you'll need the HPA adapter.

IIRC it's just the machining for the headlight leveling sensor arm bracket.

I'm just doing the rear to get better shock mounts. And some impact strength I hope.
