Replace cup holder trim
When I bought the car the trim that the passenger cup holder fits into was broken. The piece is cheap enough but do I have to remove the entire console to replace?
This is the piece I'm talking about Last edited by Fast.asleep; 10-29-2015 at 12:37 PM.. |

Just in case anyone else is researching this:
The trim piece is held on by 2 screws that you can only access from underneath the console. I'm sure complete removal isn't nessicary but there is no easy way to do this. |

I have the same issue with mine! So does the entire console need to be removed? I wonder if you can access it by removing the shifter.

Yeah the whole center console trim needs to be removed to access the screws from the underside. There's a DIY to install the cupholder around here that will guide you through it, not tooooo hard, but is a bit of a pain. Curious how is it actually broken? One of the ears you think that hold it in place are broken or something? Or just the door is loose or what?
