FS: OEM 128i Performance Exhaust muffler
I have a genuine NLA OEM BMW Performance muffler for 128i. Part # 18110443577 (superseeded by 18102208804) I bought it because I couldn't find a performance muffler for my E91 and had a shop install it just last week. Sounds great! However, I have an opportunity to buy a 328i version, so if I can sell this muffler for my asking price, I will do the switch despite the 128i muffler being quite a bit lighter than the 3-series one. A couple of notes: The exhaust shop had to cut off one of the mounting points to install it and they welded the inlet pipe it onto a custom pipe section. So, you will need to re-attach/weld on the mount to install it back onto the 1-series. Other than that, it's in a good condition. I do not know the mileage of the previous owner's car. My price is $850 and includes shipping within North America and is pretty firm as my only incentive to sell is to switch to the 3-series version. If that other offer does not work out, I am keeping this one. I would prefer a serious buyer with a deposit to ensure the buyer wants this as I will need to buy the 328i muffler, get it delivered, install it, and then I can ship this one and I do not want to be stuck with it if someone changes their mind later. Thanks for understanding. Here it is when delivered to me and I will post pics of it currently on the car. EDIT: OK, boys and girls, sorry to disappoint everyone interested, but the deal is off, unfortunately, as I am not able to get a 3-series version afterall as it sold within hours like they all do. That said, I am still open to finding a trade, so if someone comes across an E90 Performance muffler and wants this one, please let me know. I'd do a straight trade. Given that I am in Northeast corner of North America, shipping will be involved and is about $70 to most places. Here's the mount that was cut off from the left (outer) pipe. And here's how the muffler sits at the moment on my car. A pipe was welded to the inlet. Last edited by eljay; 11-05-2021 at 07:12 AM.. Reason: added pictures of mount and current installed state |
