What to look for when buying 135i
Hi all -
I'm in the market for a 135i/is, and I was hoping to get some "inside" advice on what to watch out for while looking at these cars. I've never owned a BMW, but do have some experience with cars (multiple s2000s [still have one of these], Civic Si, Golf R). So I wanted to ask the experts: What are the common issues with the 135? Are some years better than others? Red flags I should watch out for? I always realize I should have asked this or that after I buy the car and have the problem I never asked about. Hoping to avoid some of that this time around.... Appreciate any thoughts and insights y'all might have. Thanks! - Chris |

You'll likely get many suggestions to search this site. I can be the first!
I'd try the site search or Google Advanced Search using this domain name. |

Also find a good BMW indy garage and talk with them before getting too serious. And if intend on keeping the car for some time, join BMWCCA. Their technical editor Mike M. has saved many of us hundreds if not thousands of dollars in vehicle maintenance.
