Dipstick Tube Broken :-(
Hi Guys,
Seems that I am the only idiot around who has broken the top off the dipstick tube while screwing back on the oil filter cap. I cant seem to find any information online about the process of replacing the whole tube, has anybody ever replaced one is it as simple as it looks? I see one bolt just at the place where I snapped the tube and they seem easy enough to buy anything I should watch out for when swapping them out? Very much appreciate any info or words of wisdom, before I break the next part :-) Paulski |

OP, There is probably two bolts, one where it goes into the oil pan, and one that holds it onto the intake manifold or something like that. Should be a straight forward remove and reinstall new one. Make sure you get a new o-ring for bottom where it goes into the oil pan. |
