will 16x7.5in et35 fit the 128i?
Im looking for snow tires and found a set with 16 x 7.5" with ET35, will that fit on my 128i?
Im asking only because most stock E82/E88 rims seem to have offsets in the mid 40s. Most of the threads are looking at much larger rims like 17" and 18". Im not looking for anything special, just need to get around in the winter. These are generic rims (i believe ASA JH3 for what it is worth). Am i better off sticking with OEM wheels or does it not matter? Thanks |

Yes, will work perfect for what you are planning.

I don't have a great understanding of wheel geometry but do you think 17 x 7.5 with an offset of 34 would fit into an e88 without any issues? The wheels were originally from an e92

Yeah that should also clear with no issues. I am running 17x8 +34, which is nearly the same size, just 1/4" fatter on either side.
