N55 No crank no start (help)
Hey everyone
Yesterday I jacked up the front of the car to change the oil on my 135i N55 2011. 135,000 KM After filling the car with oil I pushed the button to start it and I wouldn't start. I could hear the starter clicking but it's not spinning. I connected the scan tool and here's the codes I got: A0B4 - Absent - Car Access System (CAS): Engine start, starter operation A0C1 - present - Car Access System (CAS): output, terminal 50 I checked the live data specifically terminal 50e (is it the one mentioned in the fault?) and saw it changes from 0 to 10.76volts while pressing the start button. I am assuming that the starter is getting power but maybe it gave out? how do I make sure? how do I test it? The battery is 1 year old and it reads 12.11volts on the scan tool. Appreciate your help in troubleshooting this issue. Thanks |
