All lights on dash need info/help
Hi everyone im having an issue i cant solve, i jacked my car up correctly using the pad to replace the windshield washer pump and after i have all yellow lights abs, service engine, brake. The errors highlighted are the codes, no engine codes for the servixe light. I just replaced the speed sensor and checked all wires again so im stumped. I used inpa to see if the sensor is working and when i moved my car the right side was not showing kmh.i had issues prior to me changing the washer pump. I appreciate any info.

This will sound generic, but - check the battery. Get it on a charger for a while, at a minimum. Our cars can do this (throw every light under the sun) when the battery gets low. All sorts of codes for things that make no sense and are not actually issues.

Dang, if you just replaced it then unlikely to be the issue on its own. There can be bad grounds, bad cables, things like that but a lot less likely.
Any chance it sat a long time with a door open or some other power drain when you did the recent work? I'd still charge it to be sure, if you have a charger. Or get it started and running for quite a while. It is interesting however that you did the wheel speed sensor recently and that's what the current codes are primarily for. It could all look perfectly installed but be missing something, like a broken wire internally that looks good on the outside. Maybe there's a way to check the sensor itself? Continuity test or something like it, not exactly sure. I'm just "thinking out loud", definitely don't know the answer. |

tracer bullet yea it’s weird, car had no lights when i started it too. After changing that it decided to have all the lights, i used a ebay windshield pump but that shouldnt matter right? And i just changed the sensor because thats the only code but obviously my old one was good

Update for anyone who sees this but i figured it out, I thought maybe my module went bad but it was the plug coming off the car. I cut both plugs and hard wired the senors after testing the sensors first to make sure both were good and started reading again. I bought a $100 speed sensor and it was actually bad new too. My og sensor had a reading using a multimeter and the new one did not. Turns out it was the plugs not my og sensors. I had a brake light, abs light, and service engine. All fixed now.

Nice! Congrats. That crap's not easy or fun to track down especially when you're thinking "it's new, it has to be good".
