Lost heat after radiator change
I lost heat after changing my radiator. I also changed the fitting that attaches on the driver's side because the old one cracked during removal. My water pump and thermostat are less than a year old and I had no issues until now.

Has anyone had this issue? I have no cooling issues and the car comes up to temp normally. I can drive for a half hour and the air from the vent will be lukewarm but never hot, if I turn on the ac it gets cold very quickly but when I shut it off it will then take another few minutes just to get warmed up again.

Seems crazy. Did you flush the system? Maybe if you did the sediment in the system collected in the heater core. I've flushed my heater core out before and it was pretty gross.

I'm assuming you did the coolant bleed procedure? Even if you did, it's definitely worth doing again. Some cars are finicky and need multiple goes with some driving in between.
Blau might be onto something, our cars are reaching an age where the heat exchangers might have some internal corrosion. Every car I've flushed the core on has definitely benefitted from it. |

I'd do the bleed procedure again, and just drive it for a while.
I didn't have any issue after my water pump replacement, but I recently drained the coolant on my MK4 golf and didn't have heat for a while until it bled itself correctly. Took quite a few miles till it finally blew warm again. |
