Cars For Sale Thread / 1M Coupe

Time to liven this board up...On other forums these Cars For Sale Threads tend to bring about random daily conversation about cars/market/mods you name it, so why not try it on this forum.

BAT results -- Interesting mix of timing and sales.
https://bringatrailer.com/bmw/1m/

On Car Gurus only 4 in the nation for sale currently, 2 look to be EAG cars.

I am always curious what the sellers are buying to replace the 1M?

the EAG orange on black wheels was sold a while back and it's no longer listed on their website. I think they forgot to take down their ad.

I had a bad experience with BaT when i tried selling my M2CS back in October. I set a reserve price that what I think is fair market value at that time but they kept pushing me to drop the reserve by $10k. Car is in pristine almost new condition with only 3400 miles. Listed it on Cargurus and was sold for more than asking in just 5 days to a local buyer.

If i was to flip my 1M now, would probably drop a deposit on a new m4cs or the upcoming m2cs. I know i will be disappointed because they do not come in manual.

I have a white 1M with 15k miles I will most likely be trying to sell rather soon. Still debating as the market seems to have bottomed out. Has V3's, GT Haus exhaust, carbon lip, carbon side skirts, full frontal PPF. I want no less than $80k but I don't know if it can fetch that.

In regards to what I would get next, a 991 GT3 in the next 2-3 years.

yeah - that should be an $80k + car. I'm at 16.7k miles and i would also list it for over 80.

This low-mile 1M auction ending soon.

The car had a bumper claim with insurance, plus this is a Canadian car.

Canadian cars do not do well, even with Porsche, not sure why Canadian owners do not just list to sell in Canada?

Mine is Canadian but was imported to the states and has the MPH speedo as well. Wonder how it will do when it sells considering the hard part has been done and it's no different than a US car now.

This car was stolen for that price. Starting to think Cars and Birds might be the way to list, or just privately. BAT has been tanking with 1M prices.

Just ran this through Hagerty. Current estimates for the 1M.

Unfortunately, Canadian cars will be between 5-15% lower than US cars. Seems to be the trend even on a GT3 RS i had an eye on. Had to pass on it unfortunately.

No one wants to see km/h when they can’t drive on the autobahn, makes car feel slower.

I have been following a strong 997GT car market this spring, prices have really gone up, but Canadian cars have not sold or have gone off market for less money. People are a little nervous about the whole process and resale from what I can tell.

I think it is a great way to get a "keeper car" at a discount, but for the guys that like to buy and sell a lot, it is an unknown factor...

For this car, front bumper claim and respray is something, so is approximately only 400 miles in 9 years, that can require some maintenance with sensors and other parts when the car is not driven much and brought up to proper cycle temps. What if that 400 miles was one trip? IDK, maybe the owner commented on this in the comments?

Here I am thinking to trade 997.2 for a 1M. What do you reckon? Ill be dissapointed with the 1M? Also seems hard to find a car thats not modified...

I swear I saw you driving around downtown Scottsdale a few weeks ago. Unless there is another white 1M in the area. I live in McCormick Ranch and I sometimes see a white one around which is the only other one I've ever seen.
