Well, I believe it is very acceptable... when I look at it, I'd take a 135i with comfort package, auto airco, isofix, professional radio and xenon's. Total of 41610,00€, still 22.000,00€ less than a comparable Cayman S!!

Fortunately. BMW normally cuts the US market a break and doesn't just convert Euro prices to US prices. Still you have to wonder just how much of a break the US will receive particularly with the beating the dollar has taken. Like you said... NOT a good sign.

I can't even imagine what they'd be thinking at this price point. What does the Euro price compare to the 335i?
If it's any more than 40k, they will have significant trouble moving these in the U.S. It needs to be 39,999 FULLY LOADED in order to have a chance here. |

You cannot do a direct conversion. If that were the case the E92 M3 would cost over $100k!! The 130i M sport 5 door hatch is priced approximitely 21% less than the 335i in the UK. Using those figures, I came up with a base price range (I use a range because there is no 135 in the UK lineup) of $30-$35K. My actual number using the 21% figure was $32232. If that is accurate, I think you can expect an out the door price, depending on options, of around $37-$41K. I could be wrong, however not likely.
