Great news! I had guesses $28,500 base price so this is right on target.
Now, I wonder when we get to see the Confidential Pricing Sheet to see what the invoice and ED invoice prices are... |

Invoice should be approximately 92% of MSRP and ED approximately 86% of MSRP. These are SWAGs though, they are based on translating the pricing known in August '06 for the '07 MY 3 series coupe.

8% is exactly the number I use as a rule of thumb to determine invoice. Reality sets in. Right now, I'm planning on holding off and waiting for the first 6 mos after introduction. |

Invoice price is the price the Dealer pays (generalization) Knowing the Invoice price is key to negotiation for the sale price of the car. I have bought every car I bought within $250 of the invoice price. A couple at Invoice, and one below... So it is possible to get a car at Invoice. With this car, we might not be able to pick one up that close to invoice, but we don't know for sure yet. Read this: http://www.edmunds.com/advice/buying...6/article.html |

Does that 86% ED price estimate generally include the local dealer's incentive who helps you with the ED? |

I doubt any dealership will discount this car. Demand will keep the car selling at MSRP.

My understanding is that it does not. There is such thing as MSRP for ED cars, which includes the dealer's profit. I hope to do better than that. In fact, I would prefer to pay an agreed amount of $ over ED invoice (like $1,250 over ED invoice).

($35,600 x .86) + $1250 = $31866 Btw, I got my e90 1st month of US delivery, and everybody was paying MSRP (or damn close to it) for ED or US delivery. |

I am glad the early cost included destination.....that $775 may not seem like a lot, but it is the differance between me getting say the Comfort Access, Upgraded stereo, etc.

There would be about an 86% difference between U.S. delivery MSRP and ED invoice. http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showp...&postcount=265 |
