Hmmm. It has the Euro rear headrests. The ones we are getting a bigger than that. Those are the flip up kind that I wished we were getting. The ones we get cut down on visibility, and really, how many people are we really going to regularly have in back?

Lol. Good reply. I want them there for when I do have people back there, but tucked away when I don't.
I was mainly pointing it out because we keep getting strangely configured cars at these shows, and added the b!tchfest in as an afterthought. |

I also think that the only think we can have learned from these show cars around the country is that we still don't have half a clue as to what is and is not specced on our cars. |

Well, you're right. Nothing has been confirmed. However, the 3ers are delivered with the fold down headrests everywhere except the North American market (my center one on my e90 is the fold down kind, but the outboard ones are a chunk of cow covered foam), and pics of the 1ers we've seen from Europe show the fold down ones, but quite a few of the US show cars have the monolithic ones installed.
These coupes should only have two anyway, since there is no middle seating position. |

I may talk to my dealer and see if they can order the fold down ones, I don't like the big ones at all. I know I could take them out, but I am not sure if I would like the looks of it.

So I came back from the show today. The car looks good in person. The sweeping edge does not look terribly sharp or awkward. While the car is small, it is not too small. Also, It looks good in black. It got a good amount of attention with positive comments. From a distance, the car looks good, and at first sight up close, it looks good as well. Only after staring at it for awhile did i find some proportions to look funny. Also, it looks good even with the 128 suspension with the tiny 215 tires and small wheels. It must look really good with the lower suspension, body kit, and bigger wheels/tires. The big kidneys make it look aggressive from 20-30 ft away.
That said, after the show I am 95% sure I will be switching my order to an M3. I have the $$ and I want a car that I will not feel compelled to make any mods to. |

lol, I'll give you a couple months before your buying your first mod for your M3. If you have ever modded car before, you know modding is a sickness, that many have yet to find a cure for. Eisenmann exhaust on a M3
