**Riss Racing** has their 135i test car!
Hi everybody,
A great 1addicts.com member gladly will be our test car for fitment on the 135i Riss Racing Downpipes. After fitment, we should have pictures up for "proven fitment" and we will have the group buy setup in the evening. All information should be up on the site Friday night! |

A member in OR. Have the appt. Friday for the installation. Will advise you all. We also put in a big order for our downpipes so this is great news for this community. No waiting, even with the GB.

I don't remember exactly how much stock weights, (somewhere near 20's-mid 20 lbs?). Our "Riss Racing package" including both downpipes and all installation bolts weights around 11.6 lbs. Should be about half the weight I believe.

Adam, this answers one of the question I have on the other thread. The other one remains - is there an advantage to go for the ceramic coated one over the chrome?

Ceramic coated keep the temp. in the pipe and was said to produce up to 3% more power. Haven't done tests on the ceramic coated pipes but people seem to like them. Coating is very durable and stealth. 2200 degrees for 14 hours straight on tests.

Installation is bolt on, bolt off. No cutting or welding involved. We have our catted downpipes being made currently so we can't wait to get those on the market. |

Box ships at less than 11lbs DPs weigh a little over 10 lbs....stock is a lot heavier but in regards to exact numbers I'm not sure we will weigh the stock ones for you and get back to you. |

60-70hp increase over and above the increase due to the ECU reprogramming? That almost sounds too good to be true! Have to admit I am tempted, but $1099 is a bit expensive though...
