Right on! Drive it like you stoled it! I will unfortunately have to wait till probably July to get mine. I was able to pickup Schomps last alloted 135. It's scheduled for a May build date.
I have yet the drive the 6sp. Schomp had one for all of a day. LOL. My wife and I have only driven the automagic version, which was still fun. Cheers! |

I've been waiting to take pics with my digital camera - but I'll snap some with my blackberry today and post.
110 miles total so far - but I have to deliver an RFP down in Pueblo today so I'll have a lot of highway miles under my belt. My first impressions are all very positive. I am coming from a 2001 biturbo S4 with a chip, exhaust, and coilovers. The 135 feels a bit faster at all speeds - with a quicker throttle response as well. I've stabbed the gas a couple of times in slow corners with TC turned off and the tail will come out I have to confess that I couldn't resist a full throttle drag against a tuned R32 getting onto the highway just hours after picking up the car. I was short-shifting at 5k RPMs but needless to say it handily beat an R32 through 4th gear The suspension is very well dialed in - takes corners and transitions at speed very well. Although I may decide to lover it just by 1.5 inches or so to get a better look if it won't sacrifice the ride quality. This car seems to have a lot of street appeal as well - getting looks and comments frequently. I met an investor in a new clear protection company at the auto show who has a Ferrari F430 (which has received the spray on clear bra). He said that his buddy called him and told him that he saw a black 135i with temp tags driving down Colorado blvd and turned to follow it for a bit to check it out (that was me) I am going to have an estimate and schedule application of that new clear bra technology today - it's at a place called Chip Magic www.chipmagic.biz . I'll have pictures later tonight - |

That's great!!
Thanks for taking the time to post. I'm sure the wait for mine will kill me, or lead to grey hair. All the positive posts make me feel like a kid on the longest Christmas Eve...EVER!

Ok guys here are some pics - sorry about the crappy quality but it's my cell phone camera.
I learned some things on my 240 mile round trip to Pueblo today: - The car would benefit from a stiffer suspension and/or lighter wheels and tires. At high speeds - you can feel the centrifical (sp?) force that the heavy run-flat tires create. Lighter tires and a bit firmer suspension would help out in 100MPH+ highway situations. (not that I would EVER do that). |

What would you guys think for a meet sometime in the summer? July? Possibly Denver or the Springs. Hopefully will have at least 10 by then.

Nice - congrats! Wait until the tuning bug gets you and you install a JB or similar. You'll find yourself grinning ear to ear every time you floor it!
