this seems to be the best thread for this topic...
anybody know WHY? its in the german catalog, and the 135i buyer would be the most likely to mod for more power. Why is CAI on hold?

Honestly, this is probably one of the few topics that's only been talked about less than a handful of times.
Perhaps telling the people to search for topics like: Difference between 135 and 128, Interior Color Opinions, The billions of tune related redundant threads, etc is ok. But since there's no where near that amount of information on the subject, give the guy a break, damn. A post in an Exhaust Group Buy thread "touching" on the subject doesn't mean the guy can't open a new thread for discussion on this specific topic. If you're just going to say "Use the search" why bother posting at all?
