Slightly OT -
but can Andrew or any Syd based 1'ers recommend a similar BMW performance shop up here? Obviusly there are any number out there, but I'd love to find a local one who would have the same helpful and knowledgable attitiude as Andrew. Cheers

Yeah Nick at Peak has good reputation. Guran, Avril was down here on a track day last week and she mentioned you. This thread reminds me of that as I know Nick looks after her car too.

Anthony, the tune sure makes the most out of the DP and vise versa. We have actually dynoed it yesterday right after we dynoed with just the DP. And it is very impressive. I am happy!
As for testing something for you...bring it on! |

Andrew is very cautious about releasing any information as is the chip tuner themselves because we all agreed that this is only a test and we have to make sure that everything runs smoothly, especially with regards to MSD81/v29.2 and fault codes. We had no fault codes yesterday after a short drive, but we will test it for a few days to make sure. I have done about 70km without any issue whatsoever. Smooth all the way! I really am loving this.

However, the fact that you have no faults on first test phase is amazing. Was that with the DP on too? Did you have a chance to tune it with the DP or was this just a first baseline? |

No opportunity for that. Unless you know of track days in the next week or so? But I am going to do some 0-100kmh run with Taka's super GPS device that is accurate to 0.01s on this sort of runs. I am no good at these things though so expect 5.7s like Motor mag! Lol. Anyone want to volunteer a car so we can see what a stock car does?

There was something at Sandown this Sunday from memory, but I think it was a driver dynamics advanced driving course.
If you're after some company testing it out, I've got a week free with nothing to do. I'd be quite interested to see if it throws up any fault codes with 20mins of hard track driving.
