Thanks RobLS

With the way imported car pricing is here in Australia, we need all the help we can get - our 'basic' onroad cost on a 135i coupe is around 80k.....add options and/or a vert and we're hitting 100k

So yeh, any cost cut is much appreciated :w00t:

LOL can totally relate to and have commented before myself about that very same thing...some U.S folk don't know how lucky they are in this scenario compared to alot of other Countries in the World...

Seriously if we had their car purchase prices, I wouldn't even be looking at a 135i - I'd be going straight to an R35 GT-R which would still cost the folks in the U.S less than what we have to shell out for a 135i

Oh I'm not complaining, its a lot of people who don't know cars that complain when they compare a car like the 135i and something with similar horsepower and thats about it, but half the cost. A lot of Americans like to complain in general over idiotic things and they don't realize how well off we are. But I am also thankful for living here, and just because or economy is in a hardship and we have a crazy guy trying to be pres, I still have a lot of things other countries don't. You Aussies are pretty damn awesome though, well the ones I've met through business and gone on vacation with. Joking around and having a great time is what I like to do, and it seems its natural to you guys from whom I've met so far.

I think that one's a pretty safe bet.

Without descending into political (mass) debates, I'm sure Rudd would like to re-categorise luxury cars to be defined as anything more expensive than a Hyundai Getz - easy to do when your Missus is a multi-millionaire

How good is that, that the luxury car tax has been defeated!!!!!! And now lets just hope that they can raise the LCT threshold.
