19x8.5/9.5 et35 will rub?
I found a good deal on a set of wheels, but I am pretty sure they may not fit. Anyone know?

not to thread jack, but will a +35 with a 215 or 225 in the front work with a +45 in the rear?

Wow, why is the offset so crazy on this car.
So I need to look for like a +45 offset all around correct?

This car does use unusually high offsets. Check out the 135i wheel/tire fitment thread in the sticky's here. It's our work in progress database to see what's been done already. Hopefully by 2009 we'll have this car completely sorted and know exactly what can and can't be done.

I love those wheels, but it seems they stick out a little bit in the rear. Do you have shots from the side of the car showing the flushness, if you dont minde me asking. I plan to slam my car.

So if I was to go with 19x8.5 et40 front and 19x9.5 et45 in the rear it should work?

How about F: 19x8.5 +38 R: 19x9.5 +45
The rear setting seems fine, but no sure at fender rubbing risk of 2mm outward extension in the front wheel.... any comment? One more question... the F:+40 R:+45 setting is with stock suspension of aftermarket suspension (i mean height adjustable ones, usually with thicker diameter than the stock)? I had a bad experience of inner rim rubbing with the suspension spring on my old car.... gonna be smarter this time... :-P I love Advan RS very much and this is the setting they are available...(below is an example of fitting on a new M3) |

I have done a quick study on the settings reported in the post " OFFICIAL Wheel/Tire Fitment Thread - What has already been done to 1ers" and find out the max width of the wheel as below Setting 1 F 18 8.5 40 R 18 9.5 43 --Wheel Width--Inner Width--Outer Width F 18" 2159mm----1119.5-------1039.5 R 18" 2413mm----1249.5-------1163.5 Setting 2 F 18 8.5 44 R 18 8.5 44 --Wheel Width--Inner Width--Outer Width F 18" 2159mm----1123.5-------1035.5 R 18" 2159mm----1123.5-------1035.5 Setting 3 F 19 8.5 35 R 19 9.5 40--Wheel Width--Inner Width--Outer Width F 19" 2159mm----1114.5-------1044.5 R 19" 2413mm----1246.5-------1166.5 Setting 4 F 19 8.5 40 R 19 9.5 45--Wheel Width--Inner Width--Outer Width F 19" 2159mm----1119.5-------1039.5 R 19" 2413mm----1251.5-------1161.5 For Front Wheel; Max Inner & Outer = 1123.5mm & 1044.5mm For Rear Wheel; Max Inner & Outer = 1251.5mm & 1166.5mm For my setting F 19x8.5 +38 R 19x9.5 +45 --Wheel Width--Inner Width--Outer Width F 19" 2159mm----1117.5-------1041.5 R 19" 2413mm----1251.5-------1161.5 **Both front and rear are within range For your setting F 18x8.5 +40 R 18x9.5 +45 --Wheel Width--Inner Width--Outer Width F 18" 2159mm----1119.5-------1039.5 R 18" 2413mm----1251.5-------1161.5 ** Both front and Rear are also within range. So both my setting and your setting should be fine if my theory is correct (pls correct me if i am wrong :iono |

The 18s described above should fit. Depending on the size of the tire. E90post has a really nice size calculator. You should use that when considering the size of the tire.
