It is my understanding after chatting with TC that the TC Kline camber plates also are limted due to the size of the hole in the frame of the car where the camber plates mount. Meaning, roughly 2.0 to 2.5 negative camber is the maximum anyone is achieving with Vorshlag or TC Kline without cutting the actual frame hole to make it bigger. (Assuming an average lowering in the 1.5 inch range) My guess is 3.5 negative is going to be more desireable for track and autocross. Now we just need a bolt on camber plate that can do it....:iono: |

Just bought the TC Kline D/A coilovers and the Vorshlag camber plates. Decided to start with the 350F/500R rates and then play around from there. Getting ready for some fun in STU next year.
TC mentioned that the "soft" stock subframe bushings might be the limiting factor to using a heavier spring efficiently at this time. He is putting some of the perfomance bushings on his car soon, so it will be interesting to see the difference. After I install the coilovers/camber plates, I will put a larger front sway bar on also....problem is my car still has a couple of weeks coming back from Germany...I am going through withdrawls...but the 156 mph stent on the autobahn makes me remember it was all worth it. |

I'm envious of that setup and want to hear the details once you have it installed.

What is done to these TC Kline Koni's to warrant such a high price as compared to the actual Koni shocks available right from Koni? I can see they are modified in some way and include springs and such. But, any specifics?

IIRC, TC Kline has them custom valved for their suspensions.

Cool, thanks.
Do you know if they still have the famous Koni warranty?

resurrecting old thread here -
you guys needed 10mm spacers for the 18x8.5 ET48 front Breyton wheel to clear the strut on the front end. if i'm using an 18x8.5 ET40 wheel on the front, will i have that clearence for the TC setup in the front? some guys are you using these front wheels with the KW V3, and they appear to be wider springs than the TC setup, so i just want to be sure. thank you!
