Will a good price cause me to wait longer?
If I am super aggressive about price at the dealer for my 135 will they hold the order longer? I could see a dealer throwing my order onto the bottom of the pile and hoping someone is willing to pay more in a few weeks.
Does this happen? Also, how long will it typically take to get a car ordered from Germany? This will be my first car not bought off the lot. Thanks. FIRST POST! |

You can try the Rizzo method, or the Payne method as its called here, to get your car ordered. This way you stick to the price you want to pay and cast a wide net to see which dealer is willing to accept. You can ask the board dealers to make sure your car has been ordered and is in the system.

I saw the Payne method. I have my spreadsheet all set up the way he has it. I didn't know a dealer could check the status of any car; thats neat.
How long would it typically take from order to delivery. I need to be out of my current car by late Feb early Mar. I'm thinking of doing performance ctr delivery too. |
