Has any other make come in Le Mans Blue?

Has any other model (aside from 2008-2009 M3) come in Le Mans blue?

I want to check out Le Mans blue in person I heard that the 2009 M3 comes in Le Mans blue but my dealership doesnt have one.

Are there any models from 2000-present that come/came in Le Mans blue that maybe I can look for.

The M3 does come in LeMans Blue, in coupe, sedan, and convertible.

It doesn't show up anywhere else on the configurator, but that doesn't mean it isn't a Priority 1 option for some other model.

When looking for LeMans on an M3, make sure you are actually looking at LeMans. The M3 is also avalable in Interlagos Blue, which isn't too far apart.

Sorry, I just assumed we were all nerds here.

Yeah, the last M5 and the current M5 have both been available in it, and the old X5 with the big engine was also available in it. You'll see lots of pictures in my link, that should give you a fair idea of how it looks, and tracking down an older M5 shouldn't be too hard if you want to see it in person.

Internally, BMW associates an "e-code" for each generation of a series ("E" stands for Entwicklung, German for development or evolution). These "chassis codes" only change to signify a major redesign of a series, or the introduction of a new series. Is there a system to this coding, cause i cant figure out the logic behind it

Meaning do the numbers chosen for the cars actually represent something or was BMW just being systematic and going in order?

I know the E39 was available in Le Mans, but I believe the E60 came in Interlagos Blue (unless you meant that Le Mans was available through individual, but then you can say that any model can be had in Le Mans ... for a tidy sum)

There's no system to the numbering. The only guarantee is the that new model of the car will be a higher number. The ones I recommend to learn are...E30, E36, E46, E9(1,2,3), E39 and E60. That'll get you through most posts. Oh yeah, of course you should know what the E8(1,2,8) are.

Good point, I've seen pics of LeMans E60's, but maybe they're just mislabeled Interlagos. When I inquired about colors on Z4 M Coupes, I was told that if the SC plant was using a color for the X5, it would be an upcharge, but less than the Individual paint upcharge, since those colors are not standard production colors for any model. Of course when I actually got serious about this, everyone pretended not to have heard that it was possible on a US market car. I really wish they'd open the Individual program up to the US.
