finally got my mirror caps on!
hi guys,
well i've finally got them on!, not exactly exciting anymore as everyone else had them on about a year ago, but thought id share a couple of quick pics of them... oh btw... i've noticed theres a bit of a gap between the mirror cap and the black edge of the cuff bit of the mirror surround (... if that makes any sense), and there seems to be a tiny gap between the cap and where it sits on anyone had any probs with water or anything? anyway you can see in the pic from below there is quite a gap.... just wondering if this is normal, or have i just not put them on properly? |

thats what i thought... but cant get them to budge....
having said that it seems to sit quite flush at the stem of the mirror, so if you could push them in further im not too sure what would happen to the stem bit.... |

Their sitting in roughly the same position as mine. Definitely the OEM caps fitted better, but they still look $hit hot!

I have seen two 1s with these on and they fitted perfectly... Not sure who installed them though.

I have the BMW cabon mirror caps on my car and they sit the same way. Mine were installed by the dealer. Because one side sits sl differently the dealer discounted them. I suspect the quality control is not perfect.
