PIAA LED halos
Has anybody tried these yet?
http://www.shopatron.com/products/pr...PIA19503/353.0 Kind of expensive, but PIAA quality.

So I just tried to install them and there is no way in hell these PIAA lamps were designed to fit a 1er, even though it says E87 on the box and I spoke with a customer service rep at PIAA. They look nothing like an H8 fitment (see link above for pic). I have even searched online for install pics/vids and it shows this type of bulb being installed on a 1er, but there is just no way. Any info would be helpful. Thanks!

Well the kit is for multiple applications (1,5,6,X5) (3 series has it's own application) i have seen pics of the install online done on a 5 series and a euro 1 and the bulb looks the same. But there is no way this will fit into my housing. Can anyone post a pic of a setup that is correct for the 1. Thanks.
And I am pretty sure that I am removing the correct stock bulb because when I unplug it the lights don't work.

I really don't know, it says E87 on the box and I called PIAA to confirm the part number (19503). I even went on your website to see what you had and I am still confused. The MTEC MT611's look similar to the PIAA's so I don't know how they would fit. But I did notice that at the bottom of the page it says BMW E87 1 Series 2004-2007. Do they have a different headlight assembly then 2008 E87? That would make sense about PIAA. But on your website you also offer the RD Angel Eye E6X/E53/E39/E87 which then says that the year span for the E87 is 2004- and those look exactly like the PIAA bulbs. So please let me know and what would you reccomend for me if I want an LED Angle Eye. Thanks.

Actually what I just figured out is that my car is an E82 not E87 and there is a difference. It is an H8 bulb that is needed. Does anybody make a led H8?

No, E82 should be its own. I have the Racing Dash LED's in my car and I do like them. They're not as bright as I was hoping, but they are about 1.5 times brighter than stock, and the color is perfect. It matches the Xenon color and no bulb-out codes.
I was on a wait list for LED angel's from angelibright.com, but they don't appear like they can deliver the goods. I had an order paid for since last October and I finally gave up the wait about two months ago. I've seen angelibright LED's on other Bimmers, and they are definitely the brightest I've ever seen. Full daylight visible and no dimming on the outer angels. I wish they could've delivered on the 1er. The one's they came out with for the E90 series seem to be throwing bulb-out codes and they haven't figured out a fix.
