I went to Honeywells website but all I could find was the VNT info, which makes reference to having the effect of a smaller and larger turbo. I have an idea for a turbo that is truly a 2 in 1 turbo, but I'd like to know what Honeywell has, cause it might be what I've got. If not, I'd like to propose it to them. Thanks. |

If the M1 is released with 360 bhp, it would be a waste of time. It needs to be at least as fast in the straights as the E92 M3. I am certainly trading in my 135i for it if so. I can't stop thinking of the McLaren MP4-12C 3.8 litre twin turbo V8 producing 600 bhp with a redline of 8000rpm. Now that's something interesting... |

I think I found the rear bumper vents. Very hard to see. Take a look.

Wow, good catch. That definitely looks like the bumper vents.

Sorry, Obi-wan...
Those vents are probably just cosmeticm though I'd like to think they are aero functional.

Here's the reasoning behind the vents according to BMW insider Scott

I think the following to me confirms that this is an M car:
Would BMW put all of this into a 135is? I doubt it. This is an M1.

Great catch but Look even closer. Your purple highlight looks like only half of them! It goes up much further up and rounding out a bit a couple inches from the crease in the bumper. Take a quick peek. |

Precisely. It actually looks like the bottom right quarter of the whole thing. You can see the camoflage above not line up properly in the upper right quarter and Marvin's arrow is pointing to the left, bottom quarter dent in the camo.
And this makes sense since Scott's photo above appears to have the fins/vents extend further left towards the rear quarter panel, close to the tire well--and there looks to be something above Scott's obvious vent. |

My only point with finding this was to give more credibility to Scott. This is a M1!
