M1 / 1M Side Mirrors
Well now that the quesiton of the quad exhaust has been resolved, I thought I'd start a new thread on something else we can speculate about. What sort of side mirrors will the 1M/M1 have? I'm hoping that it will have something different and sportier than the regular 1 series. I'm hoping for something like the mirrors from the M3.

It'll differentiate it from the current M3 a little bit. |

Remember , Testing commences in Phases.
Cosmetic applications are not a priority at the current time chassis engineering and cooling is... And least you forget - M1 and M5 will be the big news for M Division next year. |

I knew it will be called M1 Coupé and M1 Convertible. All last M cars had quads, and all last M cars had different mirrors, that is also why Audi S/RS cars have alu mirrors. Only X5 and X6 M do not have different mirrors. But I am sure M1 will. If the M1 gets quads it will get all the rest.

I owned an E36 M3, and this mirror was too small, I did not like them. The mirror on the 08s/09s 1 series is much better.

Whatever BMW does, keep the whole N54 fuel pump, long crank issue on top priority. It will be a deal killer for me, along with a long list of people, if the engine problem still lurks in the system. Second, I hope BMW learned from the original debut of N54 and overheating of engine oil. That's all I have on top of my head. |

Safety regulations won't allow.
Big visibility and safety is the is name of the game these days. Something a bit more aerodynamic than 135 will do. |

I've alway been a fan of the original E30 M3. Any car, that harkens back to that heritage, is very exciting.. Leif W. |
