New tunes for the 135
Hi folks,
I was previously using my Blackberry with a 2 GB micro SD card to play mp3's in my car, which worked fairly well, but was a bit of hassle, since our company's Blackberry IT policy would lock it after 10 minutes of inactivity, which would require entering a password while driving, plus I would have to fish it out of my pocket to hook it up, then remove it again when I reached my destination. I just pulled the trigger on this little gem a few days ago and it is awesome! It's an 8 GB Sandisk Sansa Clip+, with my 2GB micro SD card added to it for a total of 10 GB. 16 GB cards are about ~$30 right now to give 24 GB total, and 32 GB are coming soon. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles like an iPod, hence it's quite cheap; about $55, but it works great for the simple job of a dedicated car mp3 player. The thing is about the size of a matchbox, charges in-car using the same USB cable I use for my GPS, and at 10 GB, has about 150 albums on it. I'm well pleased! ianc

Not bad. I've got a 32gb memory stick permanently under my arm rest in the usb slot. I've used 25gb and have 4,600 songs. Works well with idrive.
