I'm thinking a get together soon gents, perhaps in Mid-Jan. I'd like to check out Justin's latest stuff and see some of the small changes on the 2010 model. Any suggestions?

Nice color combo!! You will love the terra interior. I'm with Gimlet, we need to do some sort of meet. Doesn't have to be anything special, but it would be nice to have more than the two of us there
BTW, I'm slowing down on the mods on the 135i since her henna red stablemate is in the garage. Not that I had much more to do...

OKC meeting???
Any update on a meet for everyone in OKC area?
I agree w/ Justin that we need more than just the few of us, but doesn't have to be just 1'ers, we should try and get a bunch of OKC bimmers together somehow... Have any of you tried doing this before? PEACE |

There is the BMWMOFO group that is active under the regional forums over at bimmerforums. They are a local BMW group that has a chapter here in OKC and in Tulsa. Great guys and they do lots of meets. Rather than trying to do our own thing, I think we should join that group. I'd love to see more 1 series!!!

Justin - I want to see the new Steering Wheel and the new ride sometime soon...I'd still like to do a photoshoot.

Didn't make it out to Hoot's last night...I bent one of my Breyton's on a pothole last week. The wheel has been at WheelConnection since Tues trying to get her straightend out...thought I'd have it back in time but no... Hopefully next time.

Just an update for the few of you Oklahoma guys following my progression on my car. I've got a black headliner to install and I've ordered some new rear wheels in different offsets. I think I'm going to try to do 255/275 tire setup on the car Gimlet....I'm bummed to hear about your wheel!! Too bad you can't go to the car show. It would be a perfect darth vader/storm trooper combo!!! We have got to get photos before one of us sells our car.

gimlet, I was just behind you in my x3 at 2nd and western. You debadged and took the spoiler off your trunk? I'm definitly debadging after seeing that. Looks perfect. Also, good job on keeping that car clean. Mine is horrible with all the weather we have been having.

How funny - I was either on my way to or coming back from getting some Coffee with the Missus this morning.
Obviously got the wheel back from Wheel Connection and I think they corrected the "center bend" about 90%...I still have a slight vibration and might try to rebalance the wheel again to see if I can get it perfect. Regardless, I'm just happy I don't have to buy another wheel. Debadge/Spoiler - I purchased the BMW Betalink Adhesive set on using it to get the corners of my non-BMW CF spoiler to sit perfectly on the trunk. Once I got the spoiler off (tons of 3m tape from previous owner) I decided I liked the clean look and am going to stick with it. Having done that, I thought while I'm at it why not just de-badge (I have all my other cars). After doing that too, I am completely satisfied with the look. NVS2 or anyone else - if you are interested I'd happily sell the CF spoiler, Betalink Adhesive, and Black 135i lettering on the cheap...let me know. Justin - we def need to get a photoshoot setup soon. One of these weekends when the weather is nice we need to get on it. Get your brother out here so you have a driver for your E30 as well... Oh yeah - with this whole bent wheel kafaffle, I decided to go ahead and replace the stock tires...Running 225/255 Hankook V12's now...fit is perfect and no rub with the Eibach's (it's close tho). So far so good, quiet, much softer than the RunFlats..haven't really put them through their paces yet but am satisfied so far...Had Hibdon on Danforth and Kelly do it - Just over $700 out the door - not too shabby at all -

If anyone in Oklahoma wants to let me drive their 135 with a 6-speed, you'll be my hero. I'm looking at buying the car, but have no way of test driving one. I know this is a large request, so let me know if there is anything I can do to make this happen.
