GOT RUST?
watup homies
So the hinge for the passenger door on my coupe, I believe theres 2hinges/bolts per door if i remember correct the bottom hinge, the bolt is visibly rusted. Anyone else experienced this and should I get it replaced with a super ultra lightweight spaceframe titanium alloy alternative or what thaaaaaaaaaaanks |

I took that up with my dealer and they said that fixing it would cause more rust that it would develop on its own.

Probably not going to be "critical" for a few more years.
If it's really bothering you, clean it up with steel wool, then mask it off and paint it with some touch-up paint. |

Sounds like there's no cad plating on that bolt/pin. If it's rusted all the way then it will eventually damage the hinge and the door will sag. Replace it with a properly plated pin.
