help me choose my winter tire please. Nankang vs. dunlop.
Hi,
I asked this in another thread but since i wasn't getting any feedback, i was hoping I would get some people's thoughts here. I'm picking them up this weekend, so a I have to decide soon. I've gotten my winter tire choices down to these two (both 17"); Nankang sv1 and Dunlop ds2. I know there are better options, but these two fit into my budget. Are the dunlops worth the extra money? Thanks, tt. |

I assume you are using your stock rims? What's the price per tire? Dunlops/Nankang. It's too bad you are not in Colorado. I have a full set of rims and dunlop M3's (used two seasons) Cheap!!!! It would cost too much to send them to Canada.

Too bad I don't live closer - i was desperatly trying to find used tiers at first. I've already purchased a cheap set of winter rims, and now its down to the tire. The Dunlops are about 150$ or 200$ more for the set.
