STOP with these stupid modding arguments. The same argument people use for modded 335i vs M3. There is much more than modding to this car. Nothing for you here, move along.

lightweight? lol the car is a fat pig... Don't get me wrong the body looks awesome, very aggressive. I know it will handle like an M3 but I don't see how it is going to be good at straight lines... I wish they have called it 135iS, same engine, sounds reasonable to me.

After reading over the specs and what they've done differently for the 1M, I think the single most impressive thing about this car is the Air Curtain concept. The handling aspect and tailored final drive and enhanced flywheel also are good selling points. I still am partial to my 135i, but I think I am slowly seeing the light and what M3Adjuster and the rest who have test drove this car are getting on about. I guess I'll be patiently waiting for June. I guess a good hidden selling point on this car is that since it already uses a lot of parts from the 135i and M3 it shouldn't be hard to put in aftermarket parts. So pretty much I'm seeing this in my opinion as a 135 CSL (lighter, much better handling dynamics, bump in power, and some interesting styling). BMW thank you for making this car, can't wait to sit in one.

f id and only 30hp more than a 135 why all the hype guys i would had more respect to bmw m if they fitted it with an s54 i6 or an s65 v8 ....the only thing they did good is the publicity with all their stupid teaser at the end they gave us a 135 with an agressive bodykit .lsd and called it an m series

Looks very nice and love some of the efforts put into developing it-- I probably won't buy one, but it's a winner.

Haha. Yes, I wish everyone would do that. Stop complaining and make room for people who dont have issues with the car.

I still think that a moonroof shouldn't have been standard on the 135i. Maybe another $500+ could have been taken off from the base price. It should be an option as I would gladly take the money saved since I don't use mine though my wife loves it.
