Hmm, I wonder how the blacked-out housing would look on a AW car. It looks pretty badass in the photos here, but they're both black cars.

O i have tried opening these headlights once, and i found it impossible. How are you able to open the lights without causing severe problems to the lens?

i'll have to get back to you on that. but the E82 and E90 headlights are very similar in design and are far more complicated to do than the E92. but they cracked it open, did the angel eyes, sealed it, and everything is working fine.

yeah that's what it looks like, that's why i asked john if he had any closer pics than the ones he posted of them unlit... and if that is the case, that is NOT very OEM and even though look good, i do not know if i'd still want them anymore...

what do you guys mean? I don't see what you guys are talking about honestly? they replace the whole ring with an led lit ring.

go look at your stock AE's, particularly the inner ring. the ring is inclosed by the headlight and it looks as if (in your pics) that they just put the LED ring right on top of the existing AE ring...look closely (in your pics of them unlit) behind the LS1 inner ring, you can see the stock ring still there

Thanks JZ and Snell for all their inputs! I'm sure BravianX will advertise soon with more details when it becomes official. Remember their forum members not advertisers lol!

I can open up the E90 headlights in about 1 hour with no problems at all. I spend about 5-6 hours trying to open the E82 headlight and failed miserably.
