I wonder if this is one of the few colors that looks better without the shadowline trim.

Trim
I believe it is part of the sports package. The only reason why I did not opt for this is that the chassis is already quite hard, G-forces can be pretty rough on this car due to its superb one-coup design.. but you are right, for this colour it just came out perfectly.

Cleaning the wheels is really easy.
I use the armor all wheel wax and only have to clean them every 4 weeks. I just water spray them every week while washing car and dust comes right off. |

Here are some pics of my 128i that I picked up last week. CMS is a great color and depending on the light of day, I either have a silver car or a gold car. Also like the fact that it hides dirt. These are some images from my iPhone.

Very nice picture and car!
That is a great shot and gives me an idea of a location here in St. Louis. Thanks for posting!

Seems like a while since this thread has been added too. Doesn't seem to be too many of these around in this color. I have to drive down 1/4 mile of gravel whenever I take the car out. I can make several trips usually w/o too much notice of dust. Couldn't think of a better color, plus it doesn't scream "look at me" or "excuse me officer, I believe I may have been speeding...can you pull me over." Very elegant classy color, when I first saw it I was unimpressed, almost didn't buy it because of the color now......It is my favorite color for this car.

35% 3m nano ceramic. Not sure if I wanted the visor or not on the front window as it looked a little too "ricer" but I am happy I got it installed now as I can hide behind it if necessary to avoid the sun when driving into it. The job ran 230.00 just for reference with the visor. I did not do the sunroof as I never use it. Now I'm thinking I should have done it and may run back to get it done. The job was top notch and the installer was highly recommended for his quality. I drove 2 hours one way to get it done as no one around was as highly regarded and was one of a handful that would install it as 50% is legal in Mn.
The installer was also adamant about only using a certain window cleaner. I went and got 2 cans but I apologize for forgetting the name. If you want I can get it when I am out in the shop
