Will style 73 fit a 135i?

Hi guys,

first I want to say thank you for all the info you have put in that forum. I will be a new owner of a 135i next week and as this is my first BMW I had a lot of reading to do.

One question that I still have a problem answering though is wheel size... I need to buy winter tire for the car and do not want to pay $3500 for the winter kit at the dealer. I found a kit of wheel style 73 and according to the specs it is the same as the 135i winter kit. I would like to know if any of you tried already.

Also I want to share two links here which I did not see in research(I might have eye problems :-) but were really useful for me

Thank you

I believe those wheels will stick out a bit from the fender well...you may want to look at going with a completely aftermarket setup from tirerack...i got a great set of wheels and tires including tpms sensors for under 1300 US

They will fit perfectly with et47 they will not stick out for sure. oem 18 7.5 j goes et49 in the front.
I'm going style 32, et47 8j and they still inside fender like oem, I even thought I will need spacers.

Hey, when you get those Style 32's on your 1er, be sure to post a pic - those are one of my favorite wheels.

They only make them in 16" in 1er offsets, though - are you going to try and fit the E46 18" version?

Just went to the dealer and talk with the part guy and we compared the dimensions of the winter kit style 141 on BMW.ca with the dimensions of the style 73 and it is the same thing. He told me, that it's should be fine. Bote wheels are 7x17 ET 47. I'll probably try it!

Thanks for the pics. Nice to know they fit - I'll keep that in mind if I ever need a winter wheel set.
