Is your April production number on BMWUSA?
Just wondering for those who have an April production number, does it show if you try and track it on BMWUSA.com?
I have a production number for an April build, but I'm still in the order que system with no updates.

Unless you are scheduled for production the first week of April, you should still be alright. Mine didn't show until two weeks prior to the day it started production.

My dealer still does not have a production number for me and every time he requests on it comes up as N/A. He also says that the other 2 that he has deposits for come up as N/A as well. How worried should i be?

Does anyone know the timeline for these things? Mine has been on the first phase of production for a little over two weeks.

I think production takes about 10 days, then off to the port for shipment.

Mine finished today :-) hope that means I can do my SC pickup in a couple of weeks or so. Will show up with my "M" pedal set, blackout grills, and Garmin!

Yeah, just a portable. I had originally ordered both option packages but when I thought about spending 5K when all I really wanted was the nav... changed my order. So, I think I'm going to get the Garmin 3750 or 1490. Has 3D nav, turn-by-turn directions, hands-free phone connectivity, voice commands, etc. Also, has OBDII port so you can have digital gauges to monitor whatever you like. Overall pretty neato at $200.
Was also considering the DashDAQ because it has performance monitoring functions, data-logging, etc, but no phone connectivity, the gps isn't as good, it's twice as thick, and it's $500 more. Last edited by Ohcrap; 04-04-2011 at 11:45 AM.. |
